Welcome

Theresa Harcourt graduated from McGill University in the Faculty of Education. She specialized in Secondary English Language Arts. She has taken over 150 credits in courses, which focused on teaching methods and instruction, English literature and the essentials of English grammar.

During her Bachelors, Theresa has challenged herself to develop professionally. She made sure to explore different learning environments to learn more about her profession and her teaching philosophy. She has taught in multilingual primary schools, private single-gendered high schools, international public schools and adult education centers.

Theresa has continued to flourish in any teaching environment she has entered. Upon graduating, she has been offered leadership positions in multiple educational settings. For the past year, she has been the head teacher at a prestigious Montessori preschool in Montreal. Over the past summer, she was offered the position of head residence monitor for the Department of Language and Intercultural Communication at McGill University. In her position as head residence monitor, she was in charge of over 150 international university students from Japan, China, Mexico, Colombia, South Korea and the Ivory Coast.

With each job opportunity, she has exhibited her exceptional adaptability, her ongoing dedication to her professional development, and more than anything else, her genuine joy of learning.
